Meet Our Product Specialist: Kat
Hi, my name is Kat, and I am a product specialist at Luxe Du Jour. I wanted to introduce myself to both new and existing Luxe Du Jour clients. I work out of the head office here in Calgary, Alberta.
My personal favourite brands are Chanel, Prada, Dior, Hermès, and Saint Laurent. In terms of products, I specialize in Chanel and Hermès, so I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have about these brands

I am a Paralegal turned Designer Product Specialist
As a paralegal, the world of law was not only one of my biggest interests but also one of my dreams. After completing my Bachelor’s degree, I was certain on entering the legal field and even pursuing law school. Though at the back of my mind, my love for fashion always lingered. During the summer of 2021, I saw Luxe Du Jour hiring and decided it was time to change my path and pursue what I’ve always loved. Before I knew it, I fell more in love with fashion and designer than I could have ever imagined.
I love cats and have two amazing kittens.
Ironically, I am a cat lover and have two adorable kittens. My boyfriend always likes to introduce me and our cats as “Kat and her cats”. My older cat is named Pluto and he is a British shorthair with the goofiest and aloof personality. My younger cat is one that we rescued and is the prettiest kitten ever. She loves to play and cuddle with her brother, Pluto, and us. I’ve always wanted pets and now I’ve been blessed with the sweetest pair.
I want my first dream designer bag to be the Chanel Boy Bag
As a huge fan of classic and timeless pieces, I absolutely adore the Chanel Boy Bag. I fell in love with this bag when it was first released in 2011 after I saw a fashion content creator pair the bag with some of her looks. It was a tough sell for my 12 year old self and still currently is after all these price increases. Though that is why I love being with Luxe Du Jour as I will eventually cross paths with this bag while supporting circular fashion.
My love for designers started when I started thrifting and purchasing from consignment shops.
After moving to Calgary from a smaller town, I started experimenting with my style while on a college student budget. This brought me to the wonderful world of consignment and thrifting. I was very new to buying pre-loved but soon enough I found so many great pieces that I didn’t have to sacrifice what little spending money I had. With the rise of reducing waste, this was also a great way to integrate that into my life.
I love to help people meet their goals
One thing I take pride in is helping others meet their goals in however which way I can. Being in this position, I am ever so eager to share my knowledge on designer goods. Seeing my clientele confident in their purchase and helping them style the bag makes my day.
I conduct services in English and I can provide assistance on product inquiries such as additional photos, videos, and answering any questions you have about the product. I can also assist you in facilitating payment and schedule you in for in person viewings or virtual viewings.
