Our parent company, Luxe Du Jour, was founded in 2016 and has built a reputation for being one of the most trusted and reputable luxury handbag consignment companies in North America. Luxe Du Jour is headquartered out of Calgary, Alberta, with a secondary head office opening in Irvine, California. Luxe Bag Rental was launched in 2021 for the fashion forward & eco conscious bag lover who wants to be able to switch up their style without committing to an expensive new bag!

As the Director of Luxe Bag Rental, you will be responsible for growing Luxe Bag Rental and determining and implementing company strategy. Additionally, you will be reviewing & approving client rental applications, managing Luxe Bag Rental inventory, responding to client inquiries & resolving client issues, and working with the Marketing team to grow social media pages. You will be the main point of contact for all things related to Luxe Bag Rental. In this role, you will work closely with a talented and diverse team as the Luxe Du Jour companies expand into the US market. 

Skills:

  • Interest in / general knowledge of high end designer handbags (Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Fendi, Dior, etc)
  • Understanding of the circular fashion industry and trends within the fashion industry as a whole
  • Strategic thinking with proven record of strategy creation & implementation
  • Ability to problem solve and generate solutions 
  • Quick learner & ability to grasp new concepts quickly
  • Able to work both independently and within a team
  • Creative thinking & ability to think outside the box
  • Comfortable using technology including applications such as Gmail, Slack, Instagram & ability to grasp new technologies quickly
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Marketing experience is a bonus
